Hop Industries has introduced Hop-Syn TO, a new extra opaque synthetic paper that is designed for printing POP displays, outdoor banners, window promotions, in-store signage and pennants where extreme temperature, tear resistance and UV durability is required.

Made with a smooth matte finish and additional whitening agents to achieve a 99 percent opacity, Hop-Syn TO grade has the opacity to prevent reverse side images under direct sunlight. Based on a unique mixture of polypropylene and inorganic fillers, Hop-Syn TO can withstand temperatures from -60°F up to 220°F without distortion and can be used outdoors for up to one year without changing color. By having a higher temperature resistance and less memory than vinyl, its flexibility can help reduce creases, curls and wrinkles when being printed and fabricated.

Hop-Syn TO is a hot new environmentally friendly synthetic paper because it is 100% recyclable and has a 94 percent bright white, smooth matte finish that will allow printing of sharper images, at a much higher color resolution than conventional plastics. Based on its high dyne level and micro porous surface, TO is easily printable by; offset, screen and flexo printing. It is also digitally printable by UV ink jet on a wide variety of equipment standard to the industry.

Available in .008 and .010 gauge in a wide variety of roll widths and sheet sizes, Hop-Syn TO is a unique product that offers a competitive edge.
