Paradigm Imaging Group has released the widest sheet-fed scanner on the market?the imagePRO Gx 56 HD Plus.

The imagePRO Gx 56 HD Plus wide-format scanner breaks new ground, not only in size, but with regards to environmental impact, efficiency and versatility. Equipped with an instant-on, bi-directional, 2D LED illumination system, the imagePRO Gx 56 HD Plus is Energy Star compliant, reducing energy requirements by using 30 percent less power when in operation and 94 percent less power when idle. The use of LED technology provides instant-on color calibration with no waiting time. The estimated working life of the LED system is 50,000 hours, compared to 8,000 hours for traditional scanners with CCD image sensor technology.

Not only can the imagePRO Gx 56 HD Plus scanners handle high fidelity color graphics, these scanners are also capable of capturing fine line detail in technical documents. This unique combination of vivid color reproduction and highly accurate line and detail replication make the imagePRO Gx 56 HD Plus the perfect fit for the reprographics, fine art, design, architectural, automotive, engineering, and facilities management markets.
