SunLit Intense

Sun Chemical’s SunLit Intense is a four-color process ink series for the conventional commercial sheetfed market. It is suitable for printing on the widest range of paper and board and is ideal for all standard paper substrates. SunLit Intense inks support a wide range of printing press sizes and speed, including high-speed and wide-format presses.

SunLit Intense commercial conventional sheetfed process inks provide lithographic performance, setting properties and needed abrasion resistance. The fast setting speed and abrasion resistance of SunLit Intense supports customers’ ever-increasing needs to quickly work and turn jobs on a variety of stocks.

SunLit Intense contains high levels of renewable, bio-based materials and low volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) at levels less than one percent. This ink was formulated to improve press stability, dot gain, trap efficiency and print resolution. SunLit Intense inks are ISO-2846-1 color compliant to help simplify color management requirements on press, including GRACol 7 certification.  

These inks were formulated to produce an abrasion resistant film, which dries hard enough not to scuff when jobs are moving from press to finishing. SunLit Intense inks offer these setting properties on a wide range of stocks to meet varying job requirements.
