PrintStream .Net Release
EFI (Booth 1902) PrintStream provides that foundation while integrating the fulfillment operation with your EFI Monarch or Pace Print MIS.
A successful fulfillment operation can lock clients into a long-term relationship with your business, providing a strong, recurring revenue stream. The ability to manage your fulfillment operation as it evolves requires a software solution designed to optimize the end-to-end fulfillment workflow. EFI (Booth 1902) PrintStream provides that foundation while integrating the fulfillment operation with your EFI Monarch or Pace Print MIS.
With PrintStream, every inventory transaction is tracked with a sales order number, customer sales order number and a pick ID providing visibility into sales order transactions within the inventory system. A user can tell exactly what material was used for which order, what skid it was on, what warehouse it went to or came from, when it shipped and who shipped it. When connected to Monarch you have the added bonus of automatic job creation, scheduling, job costing, invoicing, etc.
The new PrintStream .Net release (EFI PrintStream v2015.1) provides a new user experience leveraging .net technology as well as several value-focused enhancements, including a new retail campaign module and new automated routing features for multi-facility operations.
The .net interface has become the standard for many of today’s top business software platforms, providing a clean, flexible, user-friendly workspace. The migration of PrintStream to a .net platform provides the best environment for today’s user as well as a solid foundation for ongoing development.
PrintStream’s new retail campaign fulfillment capability manages the complex distribution of marketing or point of sale materials to hundreds of stores or locations. Intelligent distribution planning tools are employed to calculate which items are needed by each location based on store attributes and planogram codes.
The new automated routing by distribution facility logic can route orders based on location or availability. Based on city or state on a customer-by-customer basis, users can route orders to different distribution facilities. If one facility does not have adequate inventory to cover an order, PrintStream – without manual intervention – can automatically reroute the order to a facility that can complete the shipment. Alternatively, PrintStream can track balances in each warehouse and transfer the quantity required for an order to the fulfilling facility. Routing rules by distribution facility can be automated and overridden as required.
Additional new features in EFI PrintStream v2015.1 include timed release of orders; selective discounts; Web API to create recipient attributes; ship date calculations based on SLA with alerts; and email triggers based on inventory requests.
