Using PitStop technology, PDF Preflight is a marketing and branding tool that puts printshops in front of their customers every day where they are most—on their desktop. PDF Preflight allows customers to drag and drop files into the program and the software automatically preflights the file and turns it into a print-ready PDF—this process corrects 90% of the file issues prior to the PDF being generated.

The simplicity of PDF Preflight is an integral part of how PSPs work with print buyers who are wanting faster ways to complete an online transaction. Each connector has customized settings allowing for standardization and control dictated by each printshop.

Once PDF Preflight is installed, the printshop’s name is programmed into their printer drop down menu so every time a customer clicks their print menu, the printshop name appears—which creates top of mind awareness and increases the likelihood that a customer will turn their files into a print-ready PDF and send their job to the printshop.
