The new EFI (Booth 1902) Auto-Count Extended Visibility Package enhances Auto-Count’s Direct Machine Interface (DMI) and shop floor data collection capabilities.

The new features are all part of version 14.1 of EFI Auto-Count, a product that has earned a reputation as a powerful tool for improving efficiency while reducing waste. It accomplishes this by connecting directly to the onboard computers of newer equipment or through the addition of counters and devices to older equipment. In both cases, your team obtains valuable information about all aspects of production including status, run time, down time, production speeds, and makeready and cleanup times. This information is collected, organized, analyzed and presented, in real-time, in the Auto-Count dashboard and to your scheduling, job tracking and costing systems.

Version 14.1 enhancements provide a new level of visibility and control. Auto-Count MobileView extends the real-time capabilities of Auto-Count to remote managers and executives, giving them the ability to check and respond to production activities any time from any location. The Auto-Count Performance Dashboard – displayed on a large-screen monitor – also provides additional visibility, giving all members of a production team real-time visibility into the current state of their run, providing critical production information, displaying red when the team is behind their target and green when they are on target or ahead. Beyond providing real-time information, this data fosters a level of competitiveness, inspiring teams to get back on schedule or to get ahead.

Version 14.1 also includes Auto-Count PlantView, another large-screen display, providing a recap of all work centers in a department. This lets everyone know where they stand and what runs need additional attention.
