Ultimate Bindery v4

Ultimate Bindery v5.1 is Ultimate TechnoGraphics’ finishing software designed to build automated finishing flows for a multi-component bindery project that can be using a concatenated finishing equipment line. 

Ultimate Bindery is pioneering a new open book manufacturing workflow: it lets users set-up job intent for a multi-component product including the book block, the cover and the sleeve and automate the make-ready of each component that is bound together using multiple-bindery equipment line. The user simply sends the Job ticket from its upstream workflow along with the imposition to trigger Ultimate Bindery JDF engine. Then two steps occur: Ultimate Bindery engine preflights the imposition of each component of a project for the intended bindery device, that can be a cover, a stack for a brochure or a book block to insure they are built according to the constraints of the project and the capabilities of the machine. Once this step is done, each component of the project can be printed without the risk of miss-alignments or miss-calculated margins or bleed. Ultimate Bindery delivers a JDF ticket for each component reflecting the intent such as number of copies and the exact position on paper, providing desired quality for the final product with no human intervention and 100% automation. 

Ultimate Bindery v5.1 adds to its Dashboard the ability to monitor the status of each component of a project as well the results of each finishing module of the bindery line. Dashboard displays critical status and valuable information allowing last minute changes and then sent to MIS for further data analysis.
