Fiery Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition

The new features in EFI's (Booth 1902) Fiery Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition (released for Fiery digital front ends running new Fiery FS200 Pro digital front end platform) deliver more efficient raster image troubleshooting and global color control, as well as enable more consistent print production.

New features in Fiery ImageViewer, part of Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition, include:

• Tabular Curve Edit: allows the user to manipulate color curves numerically with pre-populated control point sets, or using custom manipulation. Users may also import curves from software such as IDEAlliance Curve2, which helps G7 certified environments maintain the G7 standard.
• Apply custom curves: users can create custom color curves, save them as presets, and apply them to a single page, a specific range of pages, or the entire job. Custom curves or a choice of predefined curve adjustments may also be applied at the job level in Fiery Command WorkStation.
• Simplified soft proof: provides a simplified set of options to create a soft proof.
• Control Bar Builder: a WYSIWYG interface to design custom control bars. This allows for different color bars or job information depending on the application or intended audience. Each custom control bar can be used across all media sizes, reducing setup time and simplifying the operator’s ability to use custom control bars. Users can upload a custom-created control bar, or customize the control bar based on predefined options.
