EFI Monarch Mailing Module

Monarch Mailing is EFI’s (Booth 1902) new job-planning system tuned for the commercial mail space. It is capable of processing mailing jobs for envelope mailings and transactional mailings and gives users the ability to manage many components of the mailing process including web-press self-mailer impositioning directly from the Monarch ERP. The module’s product-based specification tools include: full production planning, complete specification tools, template tools for speed and accuracy, process planning for sheetfed and web-based printing, full impositioning capabilities with automatic imposition generation for complex self-mailers, and calculations of waste and time for complex inline operations.

Users can import mail list files into the module to get accurate counts for their mailing jobs. The module also uses mail.dat files to automatically generate shipping orders with containerization for processing through EFI SmartLinc Process Shipper software. Also, full integration with BCC’s Mail Manager software enables the Monarch operator to remote-control the presort process and generate the final mail list files, the Mail.dat file and all other tasks and postal reporting. Monarch can also read a customer mail list file, scrub it and sends the mail list, along with an execution workflow, to Mail Manager for processing. Mail Manager then returns the Presort Mail List, all postal documentation including the Mail.dat, a list of all activities performed with times for costing and billing. Final counts update the Monarch plan.
