Bell and Howell (Booth 2610) is expanding its product portfolio to support the needs of companies that process and mail plastic cards (credit, loyalty, membership, etc.) and secure PIN communications. In an agreement announced in August, Bell and Howell teamed with Otto-Künnecke to bring the CASSilo card attachment secure system to the North American market. This machine is designed to fill a gap between solid high-range products for high volumes and small card-affixing systems for medium/small volumes that are often not very reliable.
Bell and Howell is unveiling the new CASSilo card affixing system. The CASSilo offers rugged, 24/7 run time, supports a wide variety of data inputs, and reaches a throughput of up to 3,000+ cards/hour. The CASSilo can be equipped with various modules such as card processing and form feeding. With the card attachment module, up to eight cards can be affixed selectively on a carrier. The CASSilo can also encode cards with unique customer information. For higher security, finishing modules can be integrated to insert cards into an envelope.
Like other products in the Bell and Howell portfolio, the CASSilo is flexible, very simple to operate, extremely reliable and can be scaled to match any environment.
