TPF-Series (TPF-550 LT and TPF-750 LT)

The TPF-Series of independent mobile deep pile feeders from BDT Media Automation (Booth 1177) incorporate the patented BDT Tornado technology for media separation, lift and transport. The TPF-Series consists of the TPF-550 and TPF-750 models. Both feeders can process media weights from 60gsm up to 600gsm at feed rates of up to 12,000/hr (SRA3+ format). They feed standard and non-standard print media - but what truly differentiates the TPF feeders is the lack of user adjustment or user intervention required in the feed process. We have qualified feeding of standard coated and uncoated paper stock, synthetics, 3-D sport varnished prints, metallic media and numerous packaging materials to name a few. Each feeder incorporates an automated lift table that accommodates a media stack height of 600mm. Both feeders include a touch screen user interface for stand-alone programming, a straight forward TCP/IP control interface, safety interlock circuitry, built in job counters, double sheet sensor, automatic contactless pile height sensor, and include built-in diagnostics and error signals. 

The standard TPF-550 feeds sheet sizes from 7” x 7.8” (180mm x 200mm) up to a B2 format of 21.6” x 33” (550mm x 840mm). The standard TPF-750 feeds sizes from 7.8” x 8.3” (200mm x 210mm) up to a B1 format of 29.5” x 29.5” (750mm x 750mm). Larger formats are possible upon request.

The TPF feeders do not require compressed air nor do they incorporate expensive to service vacuum pumps. Optional features include a CAN communication bus, a registration table and optional bar code job tracking system.
