Lytrod’s Intellicut: AeroCut Edition for MBM AeroCut Velocity & Prime is a ground-breaking new technology for the finishing industry that streamlines the slitter/cutter/creaser workflow, allowing any job to be created for automated finishing in minutes instead of hours. Intellicut takes a unique approach to the s/c/c document workflow by combining a document imposition tool and a S/C/C control manager into a single and unified software. Intellicut automatically programs the AeroCut at the imposition source as soon as a PDF print file is created. Because Intellicut connects to the AeroCut through a network connection, it can live on any PC in the office and is not required to be attached to the AeroCut. Use Intellicut to create a PDF print file, download the template and the AeroCut is ready to scan the job identifying barcode and finish the document perfectly. Intellicut software is AeroCut smart and knows all AeroCut document layout requirements. Utilizing Lytrod’s proprietary Smart Layout Assistant technology, designers do not have to waste any time ensuring that layouts meet slitter/cutter/creaser compatibility. Document designers simply select paper size, cut size, bleed edge and let the Smart Layout Assistant do the work for you, determining the perfect compatible layout.

Intellicut also functions as a powerful data merge tool for addressing and rendering barcodes, in addition to offering several advanced features for working in an imposition environment. The software ensures that you never lose data record ordering on your finished stacks and will automatically order data records based on how they will finish on the AeroCut.
