Dreamworks is a boutique printing company that specializes in high impact print collateral located just outside of Chicago. The company produces cutting edge marketing materials using unique capabilities for some of the most widely known brands, agencies and corporations. While starting the company in 2009 at a time when many long-established printers were disappearing, company leadership knew they had to have a new approach to be successful. With a rapidly changing industry in effect, Dreamworks initiated a different type of energy, mindset and company philosophy than printers of the past. With all the emerging equipment and technologies affecting print, they decided to choose a direction that would take print to a whole new level. Having a financially strong foundation and beginning with a hand-picked team of experienced craftsman and management, the goal was not to become the biggest, but to be the best in print communications and the true industry leader.

The company’s conventional offset pressroom features 6 and 7 color 40” and 41” full UV (inks and specialty coatings) sheet-fed presses. Their digital offset pressroom features HP Indigo 7800 and 10000 presses for on-demand printing with or without variable data/ personalization. Our digital offset presses are capable of printing on substrates up to 29.5” x 20.8”. With their advanced Printing Enhancements powered by Scodix, clients have the option of adding both dimensional 3D UV coatings and foil on-demand to conventional offset or digital offset printed projects. These new “post print” enhancements and special effects can dramatically change the look and experience associated with a printed piece resulting in higher brand recognition, retention and response rates.
