Xtend3 System

Baumer hhs (Booth 1026) is highlighting its new Xtend3 system, launched at drupa 2016. The latest evolution of its Xtend series of Controllers, the Xtend3 features multi-touch technology for the most modern and user-friendly interface available in the market. Xtend3 automatically detects and communicates with the components connected to it, greatly simplifying setup. The controller is able to handle a full range of different sensors; it can control not just cold glue application and associated quality control, but also hot melt guns and detection, as well as our Xcam solution for a wide range of QC applications. Ultimately, this gives the operator one interface for the complete quality control system being run. A comprehensive range of statistics is collected for analysis and remote monitoring is possible with an associated App. Networking the system is recommended, since it allows remote troubleshooting and can greatly speed up the time to identify any problems with system operation. And with the system’s intuitive functions and embedded help videos, an operator can master it with ease.
