Océ has launched its new Océ PlotWave 900 printing system, the most productive system in its class for handling high volumes of technical documents. This system is the next evolution of the award-winning Océ TDS800 Pro system with proven Océ technologies. It has the speed, reliability and flexibility to break all output records for a black & white system.

High volume throughput

The Océ PlotWave 900 was developed based on the company's long experience in high volume printing. It prints up to 10 A0 prints per minute, even when printing mixed sets to help print providers meet very short deadlines and faster turnarounds. The short paper path of Océ Copy Press® technology reduces maintenance and increases uptime by virtually eliminating frustrating paper jams. Users can print on different sizes of media from 6 media rolls, at consistent speeds, with automatic switching for uninterrupted printing. They can save further time with our optional folder/puncher and double decker stacker options.

Direct earning power

This productive system is designed to run for three million meters or eleven years, even in a high-volume environment. Thanks to the superb support of the award-winning Océ service organization, many printing professionals may use the system even longer. Based on core Océ technologies, owners can easily swap out the core print engine and re-use the Océ scanner, folder and stacker peripherals, which reduces the initial investment greatly. The Toner Saving Mode cuts toner costs by up to 20 percent a year. All of this helps companies increase their profit margins.

The Océ PlotWave 900 printer creates a cleaner, more comfortable working environment. Océ Copy Press technology uses no developer and 100 percent of its toner, so there is no waste for disposal. The closed toner system keeps messy toner inside the machine and off hands and clothes to eliminate toner pollution. Image fusing takes place at a much lower temperature compared with conventional technologies which reduces energy consumption during print runs. The photoconductor is made from non-harmful substances and there are virtually no ozone emissions.

The Océ PlotWave 900 printer is supported by smart print management applications in the Océ Repro Desk suite that make it easier for operators to keep everything moving smoothly and efficiently. A web-based interface lets users control print jobs via the network for more flexibility. Convenient advance-alert functions and on-the-fly refills of toner mean no unnecessary stops. The status beacon on top of the printer grabs the attention of the operator when intervention is required to prevent delays and production stops.
