Cary Sherburne has been involved in the analog-to-digital transformation of the commercial print and sign & display graphics markets since the mid 1980s, and over the last few years has turned her attention to textiles and apparel, which is currently undergoing a digital transformation. As a lifelong fiber artist, she has particular interest in this market and has been gratified by the responses she has gotten from stakeholders, who have been generous in sharing their expertise and being subjects for a wide range of articles covering all aspects of the industry transformation. She also writes articles each year for industry association AATCC, continues to cover commercial printing/sign & display graphics news, and does private client consulting through her company, Sherburne & Associates. When she is not working, she enjoys her oceanfront home in the Dominican Republic, where she lives with her husband and four dogs. A beer by the pool at cocktail hour contributes to her inspiration for the next day's creative adventures. And the dogs look forward to their daily dose of home-baked bacon-flavored dog biscuits!
