After using the HP Designjet Z5400 ePrinter*, Express Imaging shared its feedback on the dual-roll, web-connected device:
Brandon Harrop, Art Director, Express Imaging, explains, "Express Imaging, it's more of a one-stop shop where we offer graphic design, printing, packaging, and shipping all within the same building. Turnaround is always a big deal to our customers and for the most part we've been able to handle it quite well. I think that's why we get a lot of returning customers...Print quality is very important. In the end it's the product that sells itself. Finding the right technology, finding the right printer that really delivers the best quality and the best color is important so that what we see is what we get...The Designjet Z5400 results are outstanding. From the moment that I started to print on it, I noticed a drastic difference in the quality of prints that I was able to produce. I've been very pleased with what this machine can do."
Logan Malan, Project Manager at Express Imaging, shares, "With the Z5400 our productivity has doubled. We are able to take our customers' orders and get them out twice as fast. The benefit of the two rolls has been to have the most common use material that we have that customers request in at all times. So the regular type of orders can get done on a lot quicker pace or turnaround. There's the USB feature that allows us to take a walk-in's USB flash drive, plug it right into the printer. With the touch screen you can automatically show us the size of the file or what needs to be printed and then you can hit the Preview button to show you a full color preview and we can automatically start printing it...I describe the Z5400 as a printer that is simple, quick, you can expect the print jobs to be done right and effectively using the material that you have—simple setup, simple print, simple finishing. It's great."
