IMAGin RoughRap Wall Wrapping Film

MACtac Graphic Products has unveiled IMAGin RoughRap (IMAGin WW100) wall wrapping film.

Advertisers looking to make a splash with graphic signage on high-visibility locations like buildings or other brick and textured surfaces, now have a digital vinyl that can stand up to the challenge. The new IMAGin RoughRap (IMAGin WW100) wall wrapping film from MACtac Graphic Products is the ultimate in conformability and durability for rough wall surface applications.

Adding to MACtac's IMAGin line of wide-format digital media and the recently released StreetRap concrete vinyl for sidewalk graphics, RoughRap gives installers the opportunity to expand beyond traditional signage graphics, offering a breadth of application options.

"End-users want to have the opportunity to display their message beyond traditional point-of-purchase, in unique places like old renovated buildings, mall entrances, airports, subway stations, even concrete grain silos, and they need a material that will give them that opportunity," said Mary Ann Kucera, product marketing manager, MACtac Graphic Products. "When it's all said and done, it comes down to whose message is the loudest. Of those out-of-the-box messaging avenues, brick is one of the most challenging surfaces to adhere to whether indoors or outdoors, but it is also the latest customer-driven trend in the market."

IMAGin RoughRap is a 2.1-mil gloss white, highly conformable PVC vinyl film designed for eco-solvent, solvent-based and UV-cured inkjet printing. It features an ultra-white gloss facestock that shows off brilliant colors and graphics. The vinyl is coated with MACtac's high-performance permanent opaque acrylic adhesive that provides superior adhesion and prevents color shifting from the underlying brick surface. An 80# polycoated liner is used for excellent lay-flat and print stability.

"Our new wall wrapping film features exceptional conformability, easy tear-free application and a smooth, yet strong adhesive bond that creates a paint-like appearance and beautiful visual effect as it delivers flawless performance," Kucera added.

RoughRap is suitable for applications such as signage, murals and point-of-purchase graphics on brick or other textured surfaces. It can be used indoors and outdoors, with an outdoor durability of up to six months. For added durability and image protection, IMAGin RoughRap wall wrapping film should be paired with MACtac's PERMACOLOR RAYZor overlaminates or PERMACOLOR LF3600 high-performance series of overlaminating films. Additionally, to achieve superior printability, download corresponding ICC profiles from MACtac's website.
