swissQprint sets up US subsidiary

swissQprint AG has established a subsidiary company in the USA. swissQprint America, Inc. will intensify present business activity stateside.

Polytype America Corp. has been entrusted with sales of swissQprint UV inkjet printers in the USA for the past five years, and has made plenty of inroads in this time. Polytype has now decided to withdraw from this partnership on strategic grounds, which in turn has led swissQprint to set up its own organization. swissQprint America, Inc. was established in October. Direct action in the marketplace is to get started with the company's presence at SGIA Expo 2015 in Atlanta on 4–6 November 2015, where swissQprint will be exhibiting under its own flag for the very first time.

Showroom in Wisconsin

In November, swissQprint America, Inc. is to open a showroom in Wisconsin state. A Chicago-based salesperson familiar with the products is already active in the field, and two service engineers with Swiss roots are taking care of current customers. Swiss quality is integral to the swissQprint brand and needs to be pushed more in the States as well. Accordingly, the company will adopt a careful approach to setting up its US organization and intensify marketing activity by degrees.
