Global Imaging Promotes Michael Syverson to Western US Sales Manager

Global Imaging has promoted Michael Syverson to Western US Sales Manager, announced Tara Lamb, president of Global Imaging Inc.

Previously Director of Special Products for PrinterEvolution, Syverson moves into this sales position for Global Imaging as CEO Greg Lamb takes a more prominent role in company-wide product development, business sales and vendor relations for Global Imaging and Printer Evolution, according to Lamb.

“As a foremost veteran of the Grand Format printing industry and expert in dye sublimation, we felt Mike would be most valuable sharing his in-depth knowledge and interacting directly with customers as an out-front representative of Global Imaging for all our product lines including PrinterEvolution, ” she said.

Syverson came to Global Imaging in 2010 as a broker with Global Garage, the world’s leading marketplace for used wide and grand format equipment and parts. During his time at the Garage, he helped develop processes for selling used parts, reclaiming and refurbishing print heads from various manufacturers and brokering used equipment. In 2011 he headed the launch of PrinterEvolution, now emerging as the leading digital textile printer manufacturer and helped develop strategies and solutions to fit market needs while overseeing the engineering, development and final field implementation of projects.

Syverson has been in the printing industry for over 20 years, working for EFI- VUTEk for 10 years where he was instrumental in the development and rollout of five industrial inkjet printing devices. He was issued a patent for his creative vision with the Engineering teams at EFI- VUTEk.
