Laminators Inc. Announces New Hires During 50th Anniversary Year

Laminators Incorporated announces growth and employment changes in various departments of the company. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Laminators has positioned itself as a leading manufacturer of aluminum composite panels for the commercial construction and professional sign industries.

Steve Derrah joined Laminators Incorporated in March 2013 as the company’s new Plant Manager. In his new role, Derrah oversees the daily operations of Laminators’ manufacturing, quality assurance and shipping departments. Derrah comes to Laminators with over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction and sign manufacturing industries, most notably holding top positions in the sheet metal fabrication operation at a commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment manufacturer and a national sign manufacturing company. Derrah carries a degree in Material Science & Engineering from Lehigh University.

Also recently joining Laminators Incorporated is Sharon Hutchins, Human Resource Manager. Hutchins is a graduate of Strayer University with a degree in Human Resource Management and brings over 7 years of Human Resource experience to Laminators.

In addition, Laminators added Mark Sidlar, Sales Support Engineer, to their arsenal of Inside Sales and Engineering technical professionals to provide technical support on customer specific projects and details. Sidlar comes to Laminators with 14 years of experience in the construction industry and holds a degree in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Brian Wasser was promoted to Customer Relations Manager. With previous experience in the commercial construction field and extensive product knowledge, Wasser is responsible for handling accounts in the Midwest and South Central regions. Wasser holds a degree in Business Administration from Marywood University.

As part of the organizational transition, Greg Wagner, has assumed a newly created position in the Engineering/Take-Offs division of the company, providing estimates and take-offs to Laminators’ entire architectural business customer base. Wagner has been with the company for over 35 years in various positions, most recently on the Inside Sales team, and brings a wealth of product and installation knowledge to his new role.
