SIGNARAMA Expands International Presence into Zambia
SIGNARAMA has expanded its global reach into Zambia.
SIGNARAMA has expanded its global reach into Zambia. SIGNARAMA signed a Master Licensing Agreement with Zambian businessman and entrepreneur Rocky Sombe last summer and opened its flagship location in the capital of Lusaka this July, which is already providing marketing solutions and generating new business leads in its first few weeks.
“We continue to enjoy great success and growth around the world because of entrepreneurs such as Rocky Sombe joining our team," said “JT” Jim Tatem, president of SIGNARAMA. "Rocky's business acumen, leadership in the community and franchise expertise will continue to serve him well as he develops the SIGNARAMA brand across Zambia.”
Sombe, an accountant by trade, has been involved in the Zambian banking industry for many years. He has owned several successful franchise concepts and was recently elected president of the Zambian Rotary Club. An avid philanthropist as well, Sombe's rotary induction ceremony, which showcased his SIGNARAMA franchise to many of Zambia’s business leaders, also raised 7.5 million ZMK for two Zambian orphanages.
"Community is important to me," said Sombe. "With SIGNARAMA, I have the unique opportunity to establish an already successful franchise model in a new market while strengthening my country’s economic future. My SIGNARAMA team and I look forward to helping our customers build their businesses by providing them with personal attention and superior marketing materials."
