Signs By Tomorrow has announced the opening of a new Kansas City, MO center owned by Charles Payne and Dr. Amy Ortman.
Located in downtown Kansas City at 3637 Main Street, the new Signs By Tomorrow center will offer a full-range of custom cost-effective signs and graphics, including banners, wayfinding and ADA signs, window graphics and lettering, real estate signs, property management and construction site signs, photo and canvas prints, trade show graphics and booths, POP graphics, vehicle graphics, graphic design services and logo creation and sign accessories.
With more than 10 years of experience in the sign and graphics industry, Payne says the decision to open a Signs By Tomorrow center allowed him to stay in the sign and graphics industry while taking on a new challenge professionally. “My goal is to build a profitable business while at the same time using our resources to give back to the local not-for-profit and charitable organizations in the greater Kansas City area,” says Payne.
Prior to opening Signs By Tomorrow Kansas City Midtown, Payne was the digital channel development manager for Shawnee-based Nazdar Inks & Coatings, a leading manufacturer and supplier to the specialty graphics industries. Payne has extensive knowledge in developing comprehensive marketing communication strategies, specifically in the sign and graphics industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Eastern Illinois University and master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.
“Amy and I are excited to be opening a Signs By Tomorrow franchise in downtown Kansas City,” says Payne. “We enjoy the urban atmosphere and proximity to a densely populated area, including great museum and art districts. I think this location will provide us the opportunity to participate in higher-end projects and will also satisfy our desire for community involvement.”
Signs By Tomorrow Kansas City Midtown officially opened on June 18, 2012 and is in the midst of planning a grand opening event.
