A New Thieme Web Presence is Online

On January 14, 2011, THIEME GmbH & Co. KG launched its new website www.thieme.eu. It offers customers and interested parties comprehensive information about the Teningen company and its products.

"Our web appearance had aged somewhat both in content and design", Thieme marketing director Simon Hebding said. "Therefore we have chosen a completely new design." In particular, the orientation in the two Thieme product areas "Polyurethane" and "Printing Systems" were vastly improved. We have succeeded at this, and with a few mouse clicks and without a lot of searching, one can now reach the clear and attractively designed contents.

Already the welcome page is designed so that one can see at first glance what it is about and the information available. With one click each, searchers reach the two product areas "Polyurethane" and "Printing systems" as well as the additional menu items "Company" and "Current Information & Press Releases". These four thematic areas provide customers and interested parties with a comprehensive and detailed glimpse of the "Thieme World". Thanks to the very clear navigation despite the comprehensive content nearly every piece of desired information can be found quickly.

The presentation of the responsible contact partners on the product pages is also very user-friendly, so that further information can be obtained directly as needed. In the process, the needs of the Thieme customers in France, Great Britain and the USA were considered. They do not only obtain the entire website contents in their language but also find a direct path to the contact data of their contact person.

With consideration of all these improvements, Simon Hebding is confident that the new Thieme web presence will be well accepted. "We find that the result is quite impressive." But naturally the users of our web page have the last word therefore we welcome praise and criticism."
