3A Composites USA Names New Director of Latin American Sales Supporting Graphic Display and Architectural Markets

3A Composites USA announced the appointment of Pete Mir as director of Latin American sales, managing sales of the company’s products to both the graphic display and architectural markets.

In this role, Mir will support sales of the company’s well-known lines of graphic display boards – including Fome-Cor, Sintra, FiberMate, Gator, Banova and Dibond – as well as sales of Alucobond aluminum composite material in Mexico, South America and Central America.

Mir most recently served as sales director for General Cable in Mexico City, Mexico, and as general manager of the company’s STABILOY Division following Alcan Cable’s sale to General Cable. Mir joined Alcan Cable in 1995 and held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and general management for the company.

Mir will be relocating from Guadalajara, Mexico, to the United States in late-2018, where he will then manage the territory from Miami. 3A Composites USA specializes in the manufacturing of leading substrates for the graphic display and architectural markets in North America, South America and Central America.
