Project: Improve the appearance of a 60 year old parking structure

Lex Park was looking to improve the appearance of a 60 year old parking structure and make it more inviting. Additionally, they wanted to make a strong visual statement that there is significant parking available in downtown Lexington. Lex Park turned to Image360 Lexington, KY to get the project off the ground.

According to Howard Stovall, owner of Image360 Lexington, KY, the original concept drawings came for the Lexington architectural firm of Pohl-Rosa-Pohl. Image360 worked with Lexpark to develop a plan that took the concept and fit it to the client’s budget and to practical considerations for installation.

“Due to the size and location, there was a great deal of engineering work as well as bringing together subcontractors,” said Stovall. “Initial fabrication of the basic structure was done by City Neon of Morgantown, WV and on-site welding was provided by Lexington based Master Welding Technologies. Final installation including LED lighting was done by Image360. Daniel Collins of Image360 was the sales representative and project manager and Mark Stovall of Image360 served as production and installation manager.”

The project took approximately four months from the time the order was finalized until the project was completed. Part of this time was due to working around schedules of other contractors involved with the overall parking structure rehab.

Stovall originally opened as a Signs Now franchise in 1998 and converted to Image360 in April of 2014. “The Image360 brand better represents the broad range of products and services we provide our clients. I had been involved in advertising and B to B sales for 30 years and the sign and graphic business was an excellent fit,” said Stovall.
