Project: Transform Marriott Courtyard's HQ into "Superbowl Boulevard" to promote their selection as official hotel sponsor for the NFL
Signs By Tomorrow- Rockville, MD helped Marriott Courtyard, the official Hotel sponsor for the NFL, to transform their building. The idea was to capture the concept of the upcoming Superbowl Boulevard in New York.
When Marriott employees entered their building they walked over a 52-foot long vinyl floor graphic of a replicated NFL football field, to give the feel of entering a stadium. The field was created with Mactac 5828R and had a pebble finish laminate and it was printed on a HP Designjet L26500 latex printer. Signs By Tomorrow Rockville, MD also provided a 10x12-foot balloon tunnel for added excitement and the feel of walking through a stadium team tunnel.
Three Large fabric backdrops of New York Cityscapes and stadium seating were created on Aberdeen’s 8100, a heavy knit fabric, and printed on the HP Scitex Latex LX850 printer. The largest of the fabric backdrops stretched 83 feett long.
Eleven custom cut New York icons were routed on a Mulitcam 3000 CNC 5x10-foot bed, from .5-inch Ultraboard and printed on a Fujifilm Acuity Advance HS and assembled to stand upright with Mightee Mounts. The cut-outs ranged from three to eight feet tall and were placed in front of the New York City backdrops to add dimension to the Boulevard.
Twenty seven, 10-foot segments of vinyl football footprints, made from Mactac 5828R with a pebble, non-slip finish laminate, were printed on the HP L26500 printer. The footprints lined the halls, directing employees to the next exciting exhibit and eventually outside to their NFL tailgate event.
Lining the ten elevator doors were 3.5-foot vinyl decals which were printed on Rad Graphics 6mil Repositionable Vinyl using their HP L26500 latex printer to inform employees about the upcoming event.
The employee café “Hub” and main entrance each had a 12-foot football vinyl floor graphic, made from Mactac 5828HTO vinyl with Pebble Finish Laminate PF6554 and were printed on the HP L26500 latex printer. These graphics added to the day’s event and helped direct people to the outside tailgate party.
A 19 foot banner hung over the employee entrance at Marriott Head Quarters. It was made from 13oz glossy, Key banner, and was printed on the HP L26500 latex printer.
The install of all of these items were completed by Signs By Tomorrow – Rockville, MD’s team after business hours. When the Marriott employees arrived to work the next morning, they found their corporate headquarters transformed to help kick off the Marriott Courtyard and NFL partnership 2013 Football Season.
