After a successful beta testing period, Layton, UT-based Express Imaging has purchased a new HP (Booth 1241) Designjet Z5400 PostScript ePrinter. With more than 25 years in the business, Express Imaging offers full service solutions for graphic design, printing and shipping needs, relying on printing solutions that can produce a large variety of high-quality applications quickly and efficiently. Introduced just days prior to PRINT ’13, the HP Designjet Z5400 ePrinter is built with new features to meet the specific needs of copy shops like Express Imaging.
“In this highly competitive industry, the HP Designjet Z5400 PostScript ePrinter enables us to expand our in-house print capabilities with a wide variety of high-quality color and black-and-white applications,” said Brandon Harrop, art director, Express Imaging. “We can now complete print jobs faster with the printer’s two-roll media feature and expect to triple our business with a wider variety of print offerings. I can now go to any small or large business on the planet and say, ‘Yes, I can print that.’”
The 44-inch HP Designjet Z5400 PostScript ePrinter is the first multi-roll, web-connected, large-format ePrinter for copy shops, helping them reduce downtime between multiple projects and fulfill print requests faster. With the new device, copy shops can expand their in-house offerings without a large capital investment to address more end-customer requests, including canvases, backlit prints, indoor signs, point-of-sale posters, line drawings and maps.
