Ingersoll Paper Box Co. Limited (www.ipb.on.ca) recently joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), the industry association for independent and integrated folding carton converters across North America.

A fourth generation family-owned business since 1922, Ingersoll Paper Box designs and manufactures folding cartons at their facility in Ingersoll, Ontario. Specializing in carton production for the pharmaceuticals, food, and consumer goods sectors, Ingersoll emphasizes quality control and superb execution. Not only is Ingersoll the first carton converter in North America to install Valco Melton’s BrailleChek system to ensure defect-free braille printing, they also utilize code readers for accurate color and registration as well as multiple cameras to verify proper glue application. Ingersoll also strives to remain flexible and responsive to customers, whether they require on-demand short-run work or long runs and inventory management.

“We welcome our colleagues at Ingersoll Paper Box to the association,” said Ben Markens, President of PPC. “A vital resource for carton converters of all sizes, PPC provides members with access to a variety of exclusive products and services that have helped converters grow and thrive for decades.”

PPC’s membership enjoys access to industry benchmarking reports, studies, and webinars, legislative updates, opportunities to attend informative conferences and training sessions, and opportunities to participate in publicity-generating programs such as TICCIT and the North American Paperboard Packaging Competition. PPC also offers a special interest groups and programs, such as the Rigid Box Committee, the Canadian Converters Committee, and the Women’s Leadership Conference.
