LasX Europe and Colordyne Technologies announce a partnership agreement for LasX Europe to represent and distribute Colordyne Technologies' 3600 Series production class digital printing platforms throughout Europe.

"The 3600 Series offers an unbeatable combination of very high print speed and quality using environmentally-friendly water-based inks," said Dirk Stünkel, managing director of LasX Europe. "When combined with our LaserSharp laser-based finishing solutions, LasX Europe can deliver a complete digital solution to our label customers in the EMEA."

The Colordyne 3600 Series provides a multi-printhead system with the latest in Memjet Waterfall Printhead Technology and industry leading closed loop servo tension control and low cost inline finishing options and configurations. Colordyne is focused on providing continued innovation, made possible through a modular printing platform designed to be upgraded as future product enhancements become available. The 3600 Series provides industry leading print speeds and resolution for label and packaging print production, capable of printing at speed up to 102 metres per minute and resolutions up to 1600 x 1375 dpi, regardless of image content or complexity. The 3600 Series is available in 220 mm and 430 mm print widths and CMYK+S (spot) color configurations.

LasX was founded in 1998 and specialises in high-performance digital converting equipment for the label, folding carton, and flexible packaging industries, using patented LaserSharp laser cutting technology. It offers a wide variety of laser processing solutions that accurately kiss-cut, through-cut, score, or micro-perforate materials at very high production rates. LaserSharp Modules can be integrated or retrofitted into any print or finishing lines for laser processing sheet or roll-fed materials.

The Colordyne 3600 Sprint digital press and the offline LasX Matrix Modular Finishing System can be configured with optional bar code readers, instant order change, UV coating, flexographic, and rotary die stations. A LaserSharp Module with twin 400W lasers can keep up with the maximum print speed of the 3600 Series Sprint.

"We are very pleased to be working with LasX Europe as our European distributor," said Brian Connolly, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Colordyne. "Having an experienced sales and service team in the European market ensures high quality service and support from people who really understand the market. LasX's digital finishing solutions are an excellent fit with our digital presses."

Stünkel said that he is now starting to appoint a network of resellers for Colordyne and LasX throughout Europe. From 11-13 November 2015 there will be a series of open days to demonstrate the Colordyne and LasX equipment, at LasX Europe's showroom in Hannover, Germany.
