Case Paper Co. Looks to the Future with New Marketing Director
Former Paperboard Packaging Council Director of Marketing, Kim Guarnaccia, Joins Case Paper Co. Team
Kim Guarnaccia recently joined Case Paper Co. of Harrison, NY as marketing director. With a strong entrepreneurial background and a passion for paper, Guarnaccia has a long history of success in the printing and packaging industries.
Guarnaccia comes to Case Paper Co. from the Markens Group, Inc. where she served as the director of marketing and communications primarily for the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), where she developed press releases, white papers, and magazine articles; planned and executed marketing campaigns and promotions; and organized a number of programs, including the association’s annual packaging design competition. In addition, she implemented their successful social media program and redesigned the association’s website in 2014/15. Prior to this, she published, edited, and designed print magazines and ran her own advertising and design agency. She holds a design degree from Yale University in New Haven, CT.
“After working for years first in the publishing field and most recently with folding carton converters and rigid box manufacturers, it is fascinating to now be a part of the paper and board side of the industry,” said Guarnaccia. “Case Paper has a number of fantastic products and services, and I cannot wait to be a part of the company’s success story.”
Guarnaccia is charged with supporting the company’s 50+ North American sales staff as well as promoting the company’s services (such as sheeting) and products, such as their Novalith and Sunshine Opaque brands, to commercial printers and packaging companies. She will also be responsible for the company’s internal marketing and communication programs.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kim to our executive marketing team,” says Simon Schaffer, CMO/Vice President of Business Development at Case Paper Co. “Her experience in design, writing, and marketing—as well as in paperboard packaging—will undoubtedly accelerate the company’s growth as we move forward into the future.”
