3M to Exhibit at FESPA Digital

3M's large portfolio includes films ideally designed for digital printing systems to realize a broad variety of printed graphics. From long lasting and high performance application requirements, like Controltac Graphic Film IJ380 and IJ180Cv3, to intermediate like Scotchcal Graphic Film IJ40 Series and promotional, such as Scotchcal Graphic Film IJ20 and IJ25 Series. 3M also offers film solutions for floor and pavement graphics, reflective and perforated window graphics films.
In addition to its premium product line, 3M also provides a solution especially intended for use in areas where cost is an important factor. 3M Scotchcal Graphic Film with Comply v3 Adhesive IJ 170Cv3 – is an alternative for trendy car wrapping which exactly suits the needs of the market with latest industry features such as air release system and easy application. The optimized film can be printed with screen and digital printing process, and enables, for example, companies to equip their vehicle fleets cost-effectively with a distinctive design.
In collaboration with HP and EFI, 3M will be featuring new specialty printing inks meeting professional requirements. EFI and 3M, for example, will be launching the co-branded EFI VUTEk GSr 3M Premium UV Ink for EFI's Vutek GS5000r printer.
With this new ink, output from the five-meter printer, when printed on 3M media, will meet the requirements of the 3M MCS Warranty, the premier graphics warranty that is one of the most extensive in the industry.
Latex printing is currently establishing itself as a true alternative to solvent printing technologies. 3M and HP are introducing the new HP 3M LX600 specialty latex ink for the HP Scitex LX600 and LX800 and Designjet L65500 printers. Output using these inks on 3M media and printed and applied according to 3M technical literature will also be backed by the 3M MCS Warranty.
