Upgrade Program for Harlequin RIP

Xitron has announced an Upgrade Program for Harlequin RIP users.

The Navigator Workflow Server software technology offers standard prepress workflow features including:
* Harlequin RIP compatibility
* Client access from Windows and Macintosh
* Integrated soft proofing
* Job management with virtually unlimited workflow steps
* Expandability

The client interface allows multiple operators to manage their work from a Windows or Macintosh workstation, while directing output production through one or more Harlequin RIPs. Optional workflow modules such as with integrated PDF creation and preflighting, ink remapping; and automated imposition with Dynagram’s inpO2, further increase the capabilities of the system. ROOM proofing extends the functionality by supporting output on devices from Canon, Epson, HP, and other popular proofers. It also offers ink key presetting capabilities with KeySetter, a series of pressroom workflow solutions to connect the prepress department and pressroom together.

The server is capable of supporting up to five Navigator or other Harlequin RIPs and 10 simultaneous users or clients. In the pressroom, the Navigator Workflow Server can control one or more direct press console connections through Xitron’s KeySetter Connect digital ink key presetting application.
