ROTOLITO LOMBARDA Invested in Système Chromatique to Further Enhance Quality in Both Conventional and Digital Printing
New system exploits efficiency of daily print production, as well as provides great color reproduction, and improved ink mileage while upholding the quality standards that customers demand.
Over forty years of experience, five printing plants, 470 employees, 180 thousand tons of paper printed every year, qualify Rotolito Lombarda as one of the leader companies in Europe for global printing solutions and print services.
Rotolito Lombarda prints and packages books, catalogs, codes, flyers for large distribution, invitations and leaflets, and its business has grown continuously thanks to investments in technology and research that offer customers optimum solutions in terms of quality, speed and efficiency.
Rotolito Lombarda owns nine sheet-fed Offset printing machines medium and large format, thirteen web-Offset machines 16, 48 and 72 pages, two rotogravure machines, two digital sheet-fed presses HP Indigo and two ink-jet digital presses. The company believes that technological innovation is a strategic tool to successfully tackle market challenges. Some of the major examples of innovation are the fully automated warehouse for stocking paper and the advanced HP InkJet Web Press digital printing system by Hewlett Packard, technology that allowed Rotolito Lombarda to be the first company in Europe to install a digital web machine T300 (upgraded to T360) and produced in an exclusive partnership with Hewlett Packard.
A recent addition to their innovative investments this year has been Système Chromatique, which has proven to exploit efficiency in its daily print production, as well as provide them with great colour reproduction, and an improved ink mileage while upholding the quality standards that its customers demand. Système Chromatique is also intended to speed up and economize heat-set and web-offset print productions, where printing has becoming more problematic due to the increasing variety, and decreasing quality, of papers.
We are very pleased that Rotolito Lombarda has entrusted Système Chromatique, continuing excellence in offering the most cost effective and ideal solutions to their prestigious clientele.
