Xanté announced the availability of its free iQueue Intelligent Color Workflow, a multi-faceted content and production management solution at the On Demand Expo in Philadelphia last week.
The iQueue Intelligent Color Workflow was designed to support Xanté Ilumina Digital Color Press users—including the new Ilumina series introduced last month—in small to mid-size print shops. The technology allows Ilumina users to take control of their customer’s digital files, manage production schedules and deliver dramatically improved color and print quality.
According to Xanté Chief Executive Officer Robert Ross, “We offer iQueue at no cost because it’s good for the customer. We have found a way to give this highly sophisticated, feature-rich, cost and time-saving solution to customers without absorbing additional cost. It’s a simple example of how the company operates on all fronts.”
Several features of the iQueue Intelligent Color Workflow include spot color matching, unlimited screening control, independent CMYK control, full color management, flexible queue management, archiving and better output quality, because of special screening technology.
iQueue also provides up to 25 percent savings on toner cost due to the special screening, making it an attractive companion to the Ilumina series.
The Job Ticket Editor gives Ilumina operators the option to select screening types/angles, dot shape, resolution, and brightness for individual jobs; or they can utilize the pre-programmed Scene Mode to quickly apply the desired color/screen angle set, designed to deliver optimum color and image quality for specific job types.
