The ISAG range of systems for the market of photo books and calendars comprises production solutions from the entry-level up to high-performance industrial systems. Print-on-demand in edition one, LayFlat binding and premium quality are key criteria for the system development at Imaging Solutions.
fastBook Basic is a compact designed entry volume bookbinding machine for single-shift operation and the daily production of maximum 50 LayFlat photo books.
The new fastBlock 90/2300 System for high-level production produces more than 1,000 LayFlat photo books per day from sheet or roll. The workflow of this solution provides creasing, folding, cutting, gluing and pressing, as well as a fast format change. A new and state-of-the-art sensor technology and control system permanently monitors the workflow of this fully automatic bookbinding system.
Imaging Solutions unveils the new fastBlock 90/2300 system in a world premiere at drupa.
Small and large format framed canvases are trendy products for the home decoration and promotion market. The automated mounting systems miniFrame and fastFrame by ISAG produce amazing canvas artworks in continuously high production quality. Only one operator is able to manufacture more than 1,000 framed wall decorations per day.
Imaging Solutions extends its extensive product portfolio of the equipment in the field of photo production with immidate effect and offers the new digital photo printer Chromira 5x ProLab. Due to a large range of print sizes starting from 3.5" x 5" up to 30" width in the continuous printing, this universal lab convinces with maximum flexibility and versatility. The automated order management including nesting function ensures unprecedented productivity. The mixed-format jobs are cut through the integrated XY-cutting device and automatically sorted, stacked and ready to bag. The result is highest quality of photoprint perfectly color-matched across all print sizes.
The robust Chromira 5x ProLab photo printer, for example, is the ideal solution for the book processing with HP Indigo, which supports the complete high-quality cover production in parallel. Photo prints, XXL poster, sheets for LayFlat bookbinding, canvas or book covers in small or large formats can be produced fast and easy.
Due to its modular and compact design the Chromira 5x ProLab does all this with a very small footprint of 65" L x 60"W.
NEW products for new target groups (Generation Y)
For the fast growing app business market, ISAG developed the fastBooklet system. This solution offers quick and easy production of softcover pocket books (format size 4" x 6" or 5" x 7").
With fastBooklet, producers can meet the demands of a new consumer group, aged 15 - 35 (the so called "Generation Y" or "Digital Natives"). The order process via smart phone or tablet is fast and simple and takes only one minute. The booklets production and shipment is possible the same day.
The fastBooklet system is designed for efficient use of printers, such as the HP Indigo series or high-performance printer for original photo processing.
This makes the system a convincing production solution, that is right in line with what Generation Y-customers need (fast & simple) to get them back to photo printing.
Automatic image correction with just one click
Another area of expertise is production-optimizing software: the fully automatic image enhancement software VIESUS, the workflow software PURUS for the production of photobooks and other on-demand photo products, and netGate, as an image processing and image data server for integration into the lab workflow. VIESUS runs on the platforms netGate and PURUS by Imaging Solutions, or as a scalable stand-alone application. Besides all main stream image formats, images embedded in PDF files can be processed easily.
