The Kern group develops and offers a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of mailing systems.  This includes pre- and post–processing technology for digital printers, ADF software and logistics solutions. Its customers include high street banks, local government authorities, telephone and energy providers, law and insurance firms, as well as graphic design and digital print service providers.

The business has remained a family-run business since its foundation in 1947 by Marc Kern, and is currently led by owner, Uli Kern. The group maintains a presence in around 60 countries, employs around 1,000 people and generates a €130 million turnover.
