Eagle Installs New Cold Foil System at NJ’s McLean Packaging

Eagle Systems, Inc., a U.S. based developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, announced the completed installation of a new Eco-Eagle Cold Foil system at the manufacturing operations of McLean Packaging Corporation in Moorestown, NJ. The Folding Carton Division in Moorestown is revered for their production of high-end paperboard and plastic folding cartons and lids, tag and label applications, rigid and flexible windowing, specialty hot stamping, and embossing, as well as silk screening. “We’ve been using the Eagle Cold-Foil system since March 2015, when we installed our first system on a Manroland 700 press. In little over a year-and-a-half, Eagle has transcended the traditional vendor relationship and has become accepted as our production partner,” noted McLean pressroom Manager Rob Watts. “They’ve earned our trust by living up to every claim and promise. With the installation of the new KBA Rapida 106 printing press a new Eagle Cold Foil system had to be retrofit to it. “With production speeds up to 18,000 sheets per hour the KBA 106, the fastest press in its format class, we required an Eagle system that processes cold foil at corresponding speeds. With Eagle, every install is not only engineered for the press specs, but also the client’s specific requirements. It makes a major difference.
