GPO Joins Instagram
U.S. Government Printing Office expands its use of social media, which already includes Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) expands its use of social media by joining Instagram, an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking platform. More than 300 million users worldwide are sharing stories on Instagram. GPO will use Instagram to tell its story of Keeping America Informed on the three branches of the Federal Government. Instagram joins GPO’s other social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

“Social media is a critical component in promoting GPO’s mission,” said GPO Director Davita Vance-Cooks. “Instagram is a great platform to use photos to tell the story of GPO and its continued transformation into the digital information platform for the Federal Government.”
