Canon Launches FedEx Office Integration to Forms and Print Services for Salesforce at Dreamforce 2012

Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., is launching a new FedEx Office integration to Forms and Print Services for Salesforce mobile cloud solution on salesforce.com’s AppExchange, the world’s most popular cloud marketplace for social apps for business. The new integration will allow mobile professionals using Forms and Print Services for Salesforce, to retrieve their documents on demand at any FedEx Office® store location in the United States. The announcement was made today at salesforce.com’s Dreamforce 2012 in San Francisco. Canon will be in booth #406 in the Dreamforce Expo.

By joining Canon’s innovative imaging technologies with the nationwide presence of FedEx Office, users will be able to create highly visual and attention-grabbing reports, forms or proposals from their Salesforce data, and easily print them whenever and wherever they need them.

Forms and Print Services for Salesforce is currently available for test drive and deployment via the AppExchange at http://appexchange.salesforce.com/, and through Canon Authorized Dealers, Canon Business Solutions, and Océ North America. The added capability to retrieve documents on demand from any FedEx Office location in the United States will be available in October.*

Existing Forms and Print Services for Salesforce users will be able to easily send their print jobs to a FedEx Office location by selecting “FedEx Office” as the destination instead of their usual local printing device.  Once the job is sent, users receive a unique retrieval code to enter in any FedEx Office Print & Go touchscreen to print on demand to the attached Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE machine in the self-service area of the store.  Users can also consult with a FedEx Office team member to take advantage of the expanded document finishing options FedEx Office provides.

The Forms and Print Services for Salesforce application is offered as a monthly package subscription, payable on an annual basis. Canon Professional Services are utilized to design sophisticated, customized forms and to implement and facilitate the use of the application in the United States.
