GPA is honored to announce that they have received the 2012 Jack Glacken Award at Dscoop7 for their outstanding contributions to the Dscoop community, and the passion for what they do.

During the award presentation, Eric Hawkinson, Executive Director of Dscoop, identified the reasons why GPA earned the award, “There are so many dedicated people in our community, but when I think of this year’s winner, the word that comes to mind is passion. Passion for the industry, passion for what they do, and passion to help our members succeed. They have been an integral part of the Dscoop community since our founding in 2005 and they go above and beyond the call of duty all the time. Without their drive, perseverance, dedication, and support to Dscoop, we might not be here.”

In 2008 the Jack Glacken “Do the Right Thing” award was created to recognize those who consistently go above and beyond for the overall betterment of the Dscoop community. Jack Glacken is Dscoop’s founder and first chairman; he saw the need to bring together thought leaders in order to create a genuine community that would help guide HP Indigo customers and partners into the future. He was instrumental in helping Dscoop grow to a community of over 2,000 members, and was the first recipient of the Jack Glacken Award.

“The entire GPA team is so honored to have earned the Jack Glacken Award, and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of a community filled with such talented, passionate individuals. Having had the opportunity to a part of Dscoop since its inception, this award makes the recognition that much more meaningful,” said Bob Niesen, GPA’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
