Eric Wiesner
Eric got his start with HP in 1984 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a Materials Engineer in HP’s Printed Circuit Division. He moved to a Project Management position in R&D doing advanced printed circuit materials development in 1988 and spent two years in Boeblingen, Germany as the Process Engineering Manager for Printed Circuits. He moved to San Diego to join the Inkjet Supplies Business Unit in 1993 and over the last 22 years has held various R&D and Manufacturing management roles bringing multiple inkjet products to market in the Office, Large Format Graphics, and Web Press spaces. Eric became the Director of R&D for Media Supplies and Solutions in 2009 where his team developed media coatings and vertical software solutions for HP Wall Art, Greeting and Gift Cards, and Ink Content Value Packs. In August 2011, Eric became the Director of R&D for Printing & Technology Platforms focused on developing ink chemistry, materials, and software solutions for Printing & Personal Systems’ 2D and 3D printing business units. In April 2015, Eric became Vice President and General Manager of HP’s Inkjet High-Speed Production Solutions business. Eric holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
