Sepiax Ink Technology is an innovative company belonging to the Gernot Langes-Swarovski Group. The Company was founded to research and develop ecologically-friendly and safer inks in the fields of inkjet and digital printing technologies.

Our core objective has been to develop and offer greener solutions that can replace the widely-used solvent inks and UV-curable inks, both types of which show limitations in terms of odour, working conditions in the print shop, ecological impact and recyclability of the imprinted media.

A key challenge was to develop water based inks with similar durability and adhesion properties to solvent based inks, enabling superior weatherability and UV-resistance, whilst maintaining excellent nozzle stability for trouble-free performance in the printer. This vision became reality by the end of 2009 with the invention of the world's first effective waterbased resin ink technology - the so called SEPIAX aquares inks.

SEPIAX aquares inks print with excellent definition, superior adhesion, high colour density and outstanding flexibility onto a wider range of substrates and media than any other inkjet ink. And all of these properties come from a water-based ink which does not smell, and is environmentally and ecologically benign.
