BAUM Celebrates 95 Years of Innovation with Several New Products

The BAUM booth (#3200) will be celebrating its 95th year as a manufacturer and distributor in the industry. They will be displaying several new innovative machines and updates from its extensive product line of press and post press finishing equipment, genuine replacement parts, and accessories.

NEW Line of Cutters: BAUM will be introducing a new line of guillotine cutters that will include the all NEW BaumCut 22 Series. The new cutter line will also include the both the ‘E” and “N” series cutters for the BaumCut 22, BaumCut 26.4 and BaumCut 31.5 cutter models that offer a choice of new easy programming and expandable memory features. The “N” series includes a large, color, touch screen control panel with easy to use pictographs and unlimited memory. This series also includes a barcode scanner that can read a barcode for a given job and automatically search the cutter program database and setup up the cutter for automatic mode. This is ideal for the print shop that has multiple, short run jobs to produce.

NEW Line of Large Format Folders: BAUM also will be introducing the all NEW BAUM 32 large format floor model folder series. This new and innovative line of folders include several new and productive features that include an innovative control system that reduces paper waste during setup and an entire new line of delivery systems at the end of the folders . The BAUM 32 folder has multiple configuration available that offer four, six and eight plate configurations.

NEW Creasing and Perforating Solutions: The NEW BAUM WF/Speed creaser will be shown in line with the BAUM CF20 folder and the BAUM 20IPF independent pile feeder. This complete solution provides the capability to feed a 25 inch high pile of sheets into an impact creaser and directly onto the BAUM CF20 folder. This solution can handle up to 380 gsm weight stocks and can achieve production speed of approximately 14,000 sheets per hour of A4 or 11 inch long sheets with a single crease or perforation. New advancement options for the CF20 folder will also be available.

NEW BAUM Hopper Loaders: Baum will be displaying one of the extensive line of hopper loaders available for multiple manufacturers adhesive and saddle binding equipment and co-mailing lines. The BAUM hopper loader line includes both thin and thick shingle, co-mailer feeding, for both horizontal and vertical pockets. The line also includes a selection of extensions and other options to designed to keep continuous production going.

Updates to Tabletop Folders: BAUM will also be showing the latest advancements in our tabletop and floor model folder line with all new coatings on the feed tables, fold plates and delivery stackers to further reduce static build up during folding production. The BAUM 714XLT Ultrafold and the BAUM 714XA AutoFold will display these and other new features. The latest innovation in the desktop Baum B12 series folders will also be shown.

Updates to the BaumPrint 18 Press: The affordable, automated BaumPrint 18 press will be operating live in the BAUM booth and new features will be highlighted during the show. The BaumPrint 18 press will be printing live jobs in

and our BaumPrint 18 automated press line. BAUM will also be highlighting our latest additions to the extensive line of BAUM hopper loaders and material handling equipment solutions.

Updates to the BAUM Floor Model Medium Format Folders: The latest BAUM 20 Pile feed folder will be on display in the BAUM booth with the BAUM ifold touch screen computer tutorial and other features
