Mark Lithography Inc., Cedar Knolls, N.J., and Kay Printing, Clifton, N.J., have announced they will merge.
Kay Printing, with $12 million in annual sales, provides sheetfed and digital printing services from a 50,000-sq.-ft facility. The company offers design services from its location in New York City.
The deal expands Kay Printing’s services into heatset printing, said John Hyde, NAPL senior vice president and senior consultant; Hyde advised Kay during the merger process.
Sheetfed and heatset web printer Mark Lithography specializes in commercial printing, direct mail and fulfillment services. Both firms were founded in 1974.
“This consolidation enables us to broaden our capabilities and sales capacities, while ensuring that all customers continue to receive the highest levels of service and quality,” Kay President Richard Kirschenbaum noted
Jeffrey Kirschenbaum and Steve Tuminello, sons of the two companies’ presidents, will continue in the consolidated business.
