The Joss Group Posts Seybold Report Image Montage Highlighting Memorable Printing and Publishing Moments
Seybold Report Reunion Conference Next Week (April 18 and 19)
The Joss Group released a YouTube video depicting many of the highlight moments of past Seybold Seminars events as well as from the history of Seybold Publications. The silent photo montage shows famous keynote speakers, product launches of revolutionary technology, memorable interview photos, and snapshots of memories long gone. The video can be accessed online at the Seybold Report Web site or by visiting YouTube and searching for “Seybold Report and Seybold Seminars.” Or click here to watch the video.
A Living Video
While the video is an initial collection of images, the Joss Group hopes others will contribute even more images from their personal or corporate archives. “Our goal is to more than 1,000 images that help tell the story of the Seybold publications and newsletters and Seybold Seminars events, as well as to chronicle the amazing changes in publishing and printing technology since the 1970s,” notes Seybold Report Owner, Editor, and Publisher Molly Joss.
More Images Wanted
To contribute to the video montage, please send images and videos to Molly Joss ([email protected]). For more information, call 484-206-4233. The Joss Group is in the final stages of gathering and assembling a slideshow/video for the Seybold Report Reunion and Conference April 18 (reunion) and 19th (conference).
The resulting slideshow/video will be shared online after the event. The images can be of anything related to Seybold events or reports or to the graphic arts industry, as long as the sender owns the rights to the images. Please send images, videos, or comments directly to Joss, and feel free to pass this release along to colleagues who might also have images to contribute.
The Seybold Report Reunion Conference
As noted, the montage video will be featured next week at the Seybold Report Reunion Conference to be held April 18 and 19, 2013 at the Skytop Lodge Executive Conference Center in Skytop, Pennsylvania. A once-in-a-lifetime event, the Seybold Report Reunion Conference will celebrate the more than 40 years the Seybold Report and related newsletters have been published and will bring industry leaders together for a day of discussion and introspection on the trends affecting the industry today and tomorrow
