As the poker card decks move rapidly down the delivery belt, viewers are always captivated to step back and investigate the imposing gray machine that delivers the decks – that would be the Revolution by Rollem. Drupa is one of the few events where one can see how the world’s finest casino quality playing cards are produced. The Revolution starts with a full press sheet which is quickly converted to the finished product at speeds up to 40 PACKS PER MINUTE.  Multiple processes occur: two-directional cutting, collating, die-cutting and wrapping—all in one process, with unparalleled quality—1/1000th” margin of accuracy.

Richard Nigro, V.P. of Rollem International, confirmed the sale of the show machine to a customer in Mexico. He noted a second Revolution is slated for an undisclosed  U.S. customer whose product offerings will include customized playing card decks, along with other gaming and card products. “We were pleased with the level of quality interest expressed by visitors to our exhibit, not only in the Revolution but also in our mid-high volume production machines for cutting, scoring and perforation”, stated Mr. Nigro.
