Viva Las Vegas
SGIA puts down stakes in Las Vegas for its 2016 Expo
The 2016 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, September 14–16) will bring together the industry's widest array of qualified and educated attendees to experience some of the most innovative technologies in the imaging industry.
Attendees have three days to navigate through hundreds of booths, looking at debut products (check out our complete coverage of all the new products next month in our September issue), asking questions, getting face time with top names in the industry, and seeing all the machines in action. At the 2016 SGIA Expo, attendees will experience everything the visual communications industry offers, including: digital imaging, screen printing, digital signage, finishing, textiles, signs, decals, outdoor advertising, fleet & vehicle graphics, fine art, direct-to-garment inkjet, textile finishing, embroidery, soft signage, garments, pad printing, printed electronics, and membrane switches.
Also on the floor will be the Garment Zone, featuring both screen and digital garment decoration, special-effect techniques, and interactive solutions to fit all of your garment needs. Then, stop by Educator Row, where post-secondary schools will be showcasing not only their educational programs, but also their students — in other words, your potential employees.
Expo Education
In addition to the show floor, attendees can experience unlimited educational sessions with the new all-access education pass. The premier pass opens up the doors to more than 40 educational sessions throughout the duration of the Expo, all taught by leaders of each corner of the industry. Attendees can mix and match sessions to best fit their schedules or follow one of the four educational tracks for a tailored experience:
- Graphics and Sign
- Garment Decoration
- Business Management
- Color Management and Workflow
All-access pass does not include Symposium/Conference presentations, PDAA workshops, Wide-Format 101, or OSHA training program. The all-access education pass is FREE for SGIA members ($99 for nonmembers). Get it now with your SGIA Expo registration! But hurry — the price increases after August 24.
