The Cannata Report’s Frank G. Cannata, Founder, President, and Editor-in-Chief/Publisher and CJ Cannata, Partner and SVP Brand Strategy and Development, are hosting “The New Print: Vital Growth Opportunities for Dealers in the Industrial Space” event for subscribers on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00 am, Room S102a.

The dealers who have confirmed to date represent a total of $750 million in total revenue.

The event will provide a 360-degree perspective for dealers about how they can leverage the many opportunities across the industrial space, addressing both finance and legal components essential for ultimate dealer success in this area.

To that end, four key speakers will address the following topics:

Frank G. Cannata’s “An Opportunity Gone Begging” presentation is identifying a very desirable opportunity for dealers by defining the industrial printer market for them along with speaking to the feasibility of dealers taking advantage of it.

Frank Romano, Professor Emeritus, Rochester Institute of Technology, and world-renowned imaging authority is discussing future directions in his “The New Print” keynote presentation, including the broadening of the industry via a host of new substrates and game-changing inkjet technologies, as well as the expansion of wide format printing. Looking to the future of the industry, Romano sees “image(s) on everything.”

Fred Carollo, VP, Office Products, Everbank Commercial Finance will speak to financing strategies, opportunities, and programs that will resonate with independent dealer business models.

Bob Goldberg, BTA General Council, is speaking to dealer contracts in production. (For over 35 years throughout the development and evolution of the dealer channel, Goldberg has been responsible for developing key standards and practices between dealers and manufacturers and is universally recognized as the preeminent legal advocate for dealers.)

“Industrial print represents the only real legitimate growth opportunity in print for our industry and GRAPH EXPO is the single most important forum where industrial print is at the forefront. This past year, we’ve seen tremendous momentum in the industrial imaging arena as major manufacturers of MFPs and digital presses who currently and effectively leverage the dealer channel—e.g., Canon, Konica Minolta, and RICOH—have introduced new high-volume products. The time is now for the independent dealer channel to expand out of the office and establish a foothold in the industrial space,” says Frank G. Cannata.

Note while this is a vendor agnostic event, vendor representatives from the following companies will also be present to answer questions about their individual products or services and take dealers on individual tours of their perspective booths at GRAPH EXPO 15:

Canon U.S.A., Inc. (Booth 1213): Dennis Amorosano, Vice President and General Manager Marketing and Professional Services at Canon USA

Konica Minolta Business Solutions, Inc. (Booth 1913): Rick Taylor, President
and COO

RICOH Americas Corp. (Booth 1231): John Fulena, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group

EFI (Electronics for Imaging, Inc.) (Booth 1902): Frank Malozzi, SVP, Worldwide Sales and Marketing.
