Printronix Offers Direct Support for InfoPrint Industrial Solutions Products
InfoPrint customers get direct access to products, consumables, services and support from the 20-year original equipment manufacturer
Printronix, Inc., the worldwide leader in business-critical printing solutions, announced it is offering their comprehensive range of printers, consumables, services and support to meet the continuing customer needs for InfoPrint Industrial products effective immediately. This move comes as InfoPrint Solutions, a division of Ricoh Product Print Solutions LLC, ended the sale and marketing of its industrial printers effective December 30, 2011 to focus on high volume publishing print systems.
“Printronix has supplied more than 100,000 industrial printers to InfoPrint customers over the past two decades as the exclusive OEM supplier for all InfoPrint thermal and line matrix printers,” said Mark Edwards, senior vice president of global sales and marketing. “InfoPrint customers and partners will receive equal or higher levels of quality and reliability with the Printronix branded products, which are 100% compatible with InfoPrint offerings, including IPDS, which provides an attachment-independent interface for controlling and managing all points addressable (APA) printers.”
Printronix provides a complete solution for InfoPrint Solutions customers, including a full line of printers, consumables and service offerings through the existing InfoPrint Channel Partner network which fully ensures uninterrupted customer support. InfoPrint end users can tap into the full product range offered by Printronix and its Channel Partners, who are trained and have the full backing of the Printronix global technical support team to ensure top tier customer support.

In an effort to further support the end user, Printronix has developed a trade-in incentive program for InfoPrint Channel Partners which is designed for customers who have a need to upgrade or expand printers in operation.
